Cold concrete floors and sluggish tools can turn a productive shop session into a battle of wills. In a garage workshop, heat needs to show up fast, feel steady at arm’s length, and keep the air breathable while you stay focused. After spending time in countless homes where work, family, and comfort share the same space, we built our garage workshop heater around a simple idea: warmth that supports the job, not the other way around.

What’s under the hood

This is an infrared electric heater, built for spaces that earn their keep. The core pairs a carbon fiber element with a quartz tube, sending out radiant heat that warms people and objects directly, at speed. You get 1,500 W of output with two heat levels, so you can match the power to the day—quick warm-up on a mild afternoon, full output when the bay door swings open in winter. A built-in thermostat holds the set temperature, and tip-over protection shuts the unit off if it gets knocked over. The housing is finished for workshop duty, and the heater carries an IP rating for dusty, drafty environments.
