Why wait a month for a fruit dryer?
Most high-end infrared gear takes about 30 days to ship. That’s a long time to have your production on hold. We’ve figured out a way to get that down to7 days. How? We keep the core quartz components in stock and use a modular setup. It means we can build your specific dryer without the usual OEM headaches and delays.
The secret to drying fruit without burning it
Drying fruit is a bit of a balancing act. You need the heat to get deep into the pulp to pull out the moisture, but you don’t want to scorch the skin. We use short-wave and medium-wave infrared emitters to handle this. Instead of wasting energy heating up all the air in the room, these lamps send radiant heat straight into the fruit. It’s faster, cleaner, and uses way less power.
Getting the specs right
We don’t do “one size fits all.” We build the lamps to fit your exact voltage and wattage. Whether you’re running a 230V array or a heavy-duty 400V industrial line, we match the power to how fast your conveyor belt is moving. Then there’s the wiring. You’ll usually choose between R7s or Sk15 connectors. If your environment has a lot of vibration, go with the R7s—the spring-loaded fit keeps everything secure. We also use high-purity quartz glass so the lamps don’t pop when the temperature swings rapidly.
A quick heads-up on the trade-offs
Fast delivery doesn’t mean we’re cutting corners, but there is one thing to keep in mind. High-wattage arrays put out a lot of intense, localized heat. If you crank up the heat density to speed up your drying cycles, you’ve got to make sure your chassis ventilation can handle the rise in temperature. If it gets too hot in there, your lamp connectors will wear out a lot faster. The reason we can hit that 7-day window is simple: we have the raw quartz and filaments ready to be cut and sealed the moment you order. You get a system that just works, without the month-long wait.
