We spent ten years refining this thing—starting in our own prototype shop and ending up with a design that slides right into new equipment or drops straight into an existing fixture as a plug-and-play swap.
The Power, the Voltage, and Why It Matters
Here’s the core of it: 2500W, delivered at 400V. That voltage choice isn’t random. It keeps the current lower than what you’d get with a typical 230V heater at the same wattage. Less current means less stress on your wiring, less voltage drop over long runs, and cooler-running control gear. And the 300mm tube? That length packs the power into a tight space, so you get serious heat density right where you need it—without wasting energy on an element that’s longer than necessary. But let’s be clear: this isn’t a “set it and forget it” part. A 2500W tube throws off a lot of energy. If you’re running it in a tight spot, you need to plan for cooling, airflow, and proper clearances. Otherwise, you risk cooking nearby sensors, wiring, or plastic components.
Inside the Tube: What Makes It Hold Up
Inside, the halogen cycle keeps the filament stable by putting evaporated material back where it belongs. That means consistent output over time—no sudden drop-off in brightness or heat like you get with non-halogen lamps. The quartz envelope handles rapid on/off cycling without cracking under thermal shock, and it stays strong even under extreme heat. Then there’s the R7s base. It’s a practical, industrial choice. The two-pin fit locks the lamp in place, handles thermal expansion without loosening, and makes replacement quick when you’re out on the shop floor. We also added a coating to manage the infrared spectrum and help reduce surface contamination. But—big but—this coating doesn’t replace good housekeeping. Keep the lamp shielded from oil, dust, and direct contact, or you’ll cut its life short.

This setup is for engineers who need predictable heat in a specific spot—pre-heating molds, keeping assembly lines at the right temperature, drying coatings, or sealing packaging. The 300mm length gives you a tight heat pattern, and the 400V 2500W combo responds fast without forcing you to oversize your wiring.
