Here is the problem when you swap out OEM infrared lamps in a Sidel Matrix blower: the temperature curve usually shifts. It sounds like a small thing, but if the wattage or the light spectrum is even a tiny bit off, your PET preforms won’t heat evenly. That’s a recipe for a headache. We built our Replacement lamps to mirror the factory specs exactly so you don’t have to deal with that. Matching the physics We do more than just make sure the lamp fits the slot and handles the voltage. We obsess over the wattage and the filament density. Why? Because if the heat flux changes, you’re in trouble. Run them too hot and you’ve got burnt preforms. Run them too cool and your bottles start bursting during the blow. We keep the electrical resistance on a very tight leash. This means the power draw stays the same as the original part, so you don’t have to mess around with your PLC settings or rewrite your heating profiles. Plug and play These are true drop-in replacements. We use high-grade quartz and specific halogen fills to make sure the shortwave radiation hits the PET wall just right. Plus, the connectors have the exact same footprint as the originals. You just wire them up. No modifying the lamp holders, no “making it work,” no stress. One quick warning High-density IR lamps put out a massive amount of heat in a tiny space. That puts a lot of pressure on your cooling blowers. If your fans are clogged or starting to fail, even the perfect lamp can overheat the oven housing. Do yourself a favor: check your airflow before you install these.
